Join dog lovers from around the world as we walk 31 miles in 31 days for a cause that benefits both dogs and the people who love them.

Every step you take helps create a healthier, happier life for your own dog while also helping provide a custom breakaway collar to a dog in need.

Whether your dog is young or old, athletic or slowing down, everyone can participate.

How it Works:

🐾 Walk one mile each day with your dog throughout the month of August, for a total of 31 miles in 31 days. If you miss a day, make it up on a different day.

🐾 The goal isn’t to finish as quickly as possible. It’s to spend intentional time together each day, while building healthy habits for both you and your dog.

🐾 Have a senior or injured dog? Strollers, bike carts/baskets and backpacks absolutely count.

🐾 Already walk more than a mile every day? Simply add one extra mile each day for the challenge.

🐾 This challenge isn’t a race. It’s about creating 31 opportunities to connect with your dog while helping another dog in need.

🐾 This is a virtual challenge, so you can participate from anywhere in the world.

Registration:

There is no set registration fee. Simply donate whatever you are able to give. Even $1 helps.

Every dollar goes toward creating custom breakaway collars for dogs whose families may not otherwise be able to afford one.

Who Receives the Collars?

Applications are open to everyone.

While every application will be considered, priority may be given to:

• Newly adopted dogs

• Shelter and foster dogs

• Families experiencing financial hardship

• Other dogs with a genuine need for a safer collar

Because sometimes life happens, and every family deserves the chance to keep their dog safe.
